The “2025 Tech x Arts Exhibition: Unordinary Poetry of Daily Life Poems” at the Taichung City Tun District Art Center has received enthusiastic response. Through interactive technological art, the exhibition transforms everyday life into an engaging experience. The exhibition will conclude on August 10, and interested members of the public are encouraged to seize this opportunity to visit. Today (25th), the Tun District Art Center invited approximately 40 elementary school children and social workers from the South Taichung Family Support Center to participate in a series of exciting activities, including an exhibition tour and a design, creation and traditional puppet painting workshop. Special thanks are extended to Moon Ring Marketing Co., Ltd. for their sponsorship, which has facilitated collaboration between corporate and public welfare organizations to support the vision of cultural equity. This initiative allows children to learn through play while opening their creative perspectives on art and technology.

The Taichung City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau noted that the Tun District Art Center has long been promoting the “Art Incubation Lab” program, encouraging the public to engage with art in an accessible and relaxed manner. And this time, the initiative has successfully brought together corporate sponsors and public welfare organizations to jointly advance cultural equity, extending artistic resources into more communities. Participating children expressed their delight, saying, “The combination of technology and art is so novel!” and “I can visit the exhibition and create my own puppet. It’s fun and interesting!”

The Tun District Art Center invited children from the South Taichung Family Support Center to participate in a series of cultural and artistic experience activities, including interactive sessions from the “2025 Tech x Art Exhibition.” Curated by Chiu Chih-Yung, the exhibition features eight art teams who drew inspiration from everyday life to create interactive works such as a mobile phone charging station installation, a soft foam artificial beach, street lights, and residential structures. These pieces guide visitors through a journey between the familiar and the imaginative, stimulating creative thinking. There are currently three remaining scheduled guided tours at fixed times, and the public is warmly encouraged to attend.
In addition, the children visited the “Sea Patterns: Experimental Visual Design Solo Exhibition by Hou Chun-Chun,” where the artist Hou Chun-Chun introduced her unique “salt crystal technique.” This technique involves heating and evaporating seawater on a black metal surface, embodying a creative philosophy rooted in the natural way. The Taichung Puppet Theater’s puppet head painting workshop offered children a hands-on experience through painting instruction, free creation, presentation of their works, and puppet manipulation practice, allowing them to craft puppets that reflect their own personal style. On August 9, a limited number of spots will be available for the puppet head painting workshop. Interested members of the public are encouraged to seize this opportunity and register to participate.

The Tun District Art Center expressed gratitude to Moon Ring Marketing Co., Ltd. for their enthusiastic support of the “Corporate Supports Culture, Culture Brightens Taiwan” initiative. Through their concrete action, they have supported public welfare organizations in engaging with arts and cultural activities, embodying the ESG principles of social engagement and cultural sustainability. Their support allows the children to bear witness to the power of art with smiles.
